Councillor Bardsley came to Gainsborough 20 years ago to run a veterinary practice with her husband. Their 3 children went to local schools.

Now retired, she is working in the local community as a Town and West Lindsey District Councillor, with a special interest in environmental, leisure and childcare issues.
