I was born in Corringham and came to Gainsborough in 1972, now living in the South West Ward.

I was the founder member of the Gainsborough Youth Football League.

I played cricket for Gainsborough Britannia, and was Mayor in 2003/4.

I am Vice Chairman of the Gainsborough Forum, on the Crime Prevention Panel and also a Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator.
